I've always wanted to go to French Polynesia but I have heard that it is outrageously expensive, especially Tahiti. Sounds really beautiful. Tropical weather is my favorite!

I left a long long comment here either yesterday or the day before, but apparently it didn't go through. It was such a spontaneous comment and just poured out of me that I doubt I could ever recreate it. : ) : )

But let me say this. Your writing is just EXCELLENT and I love your perspective on travel as I feel it really captures a real desire in human nature that is often overlooked in travel. The is like the wonderful "underground" of travel. I just loved how you talked about each person's reasons for travel. Although they were all different I felt it reflected so many wonderful things about the innate nature of human beings. It was very heartening and simply juicy to read. Boy, one rarely reads travel articles like this. You really left the heart and soul in the people, the place and your writing. Well done!
